Human Collecting Duct - NiCaII13C2

This is one of the earlier human collecting duct antibodies that we worked on

NiCaII13C2

The below image shows a double staining of two of Argutus' collecting duct antibodies NiCaII13C2 and HuPapVII2B11 which demonstrates similar antigenic targets.

NiCaII13C2 and HuPapVII2B11

In the image below the basal membranes are stained with HypII108C10 anti human basal membrane antibody in indirect IF with a AlexaFluor 595 labeled anti mouse IgG1 antibody
NiCaII13 indirect IF with AlexaFluor 488 goat anti mouse anti IgG3 (gamma 3-specific). It is clearly shown that on the normal kidney slice the cuboid collecting duct cells are "based" directly on the basal membranes.

The next staining pattern is on a slice of human renal carcinoma. In this part of the renal carcinoma collecting duct-like structures are seen ("Collecting Duct Carcinoma"). The staining with the two antibodies is the same as before. On the carcinoma it is clearly seen that the "collecting duct-like carcinoma cells" are not based directly on the basal membranes
