This a a monoclonal mouse IgG antibody directed against an antigen exposed in the extra-cellular interstitial space of the rat kidney
The below is a double staining image with a commercial antibody to rat Tamm Horsfall Protein (THP, green) and the mouse monoclonal IgG RaUII21D3 antibody (red) directed to the rat distal tubule. There is overlap of antigen exposure in the tubules above the medulla (staining red plus green = orange). Tubules within the outer medulla and in the outer cortex contain THP but not the RaUII21D3-recognized antigen.
