Dr. Cormac Kilty
Dr. Kilty has a Ph.D. in Zoology and Biochemistry from University College Dublin, Ireland. He has carried out post-doctoral research in protein chemistry and immunology at the University of Texas at Austin and at University College Dublin. He joined the Diagnostics Division of Baxter Healthcare in 1986 and from 1987-1991 he was Head of their European Research and Development group in Switzerland. Dr. Kilty was the founder of Biotrin Holdings Ltd which was sold in 2008 to DiaSorin S.p.A. The biomarkers division of Biotrin spun-out to form Argutus Medical, of which Dr. Kilty is now CEO. Dr. Kilty is also a Founder and Chairman of the Irish BioIndustry Association and a member of the Board of NOVA University College Dublin.

Joe Keenan
As Co-founder of Argutus Medical Joe has managed the biomarker portfolio for Biotrin/Argutus for 6 years and has overseen significant growth in that time. Joe is involved with a number of global industry consortia that aim to get kidney biomarkers qualified by the regulatory agencies EMA and FDA. Joe also oversees the clinical evaluation and launch strategies of all new Argutus Medical products. He previously held a senior sales position with Launch Diagnostics, a clinical diagnostics company, and has a M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology with extensive research experience.
Chief Financial Officer
Barry Hayes
Barry has a B.A. in Accounting from Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland, and is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant since 2005 with experience in Management accounting, Audit, Taxation and Financial Modelling. He joined Argutus Medical in June 2009 having previously worked in practice and industry. He now manages the Finance Department and other aspects of the business.
Senior R&D Scientist
Dr. Sharon Stapleton
Sharon received her Ph.D. in Applied Immunology from Dublin City University, Ireland, followed by post-doctoral research in the area of immunoassay development. She joined the R&D team of Argutus Medical in May 2008, where she oversees a number of product development projects as well as managing the company’s Manufacturing Department.

Dr. Tony Loughman
Tony has a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He carried out post-doctoral research on protein chemistry and structure. He joined the R&D team in August 2007 and he is currently focused on the development of Argutus Medical assays and their validation.
International Sales Executive
Susan Ronan
Susan is an established and successful sales and marketing professional. She studied marketing in Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland, and spent a number of years in direct selling before joining the international team at Argutus Medical at the beginning of 2011. Since then Susan has developed strong relationships with many key clients while assisting in the overall marketing and conference strategy of the company.
Clinical Project Co-ordinator
Dr. Stephen Nolan
Stephen studied Pharmacology at UCD, Ireland, where he also completed a Ph.D. and post doctoral research in the area of molecular kidney disease. He then joined Argutus Medical as the clinical project co-ordinator where he manages ongoing clinical collaborations as well as establishing new investigations into the company’s portfolio of biomarkers.
