Description
The RPA-1 antibody identifies papillary collecting ducts with excellent specificity. Lately we have discovered an antibody with specificity for the collecting ducts but only in the cortex and medulla (i.e. with no papillary affinity). This is called Pap VIII12E3.
The image shows a healthy rat kidney cross section stained with the Pap VIII12E3 and shows the specificity of this antibody for the cortical and medullary collecting ducts. You will notice there is relatively little papillary collecting duct specificity with this antibody.
